Brew Asia 2025, 방콕에서 10월 16~17일 개최
아시아 맥주 산업을 위한 네트워킹 행사인 Brew Asia 2025가 10월 16일(목)부터 17일(금)까지 태국 방콕 국제무역전시센터(BITEC)에서 열린다. Brew Asia 2025는 “Optimize, Innovate & Grow(최적화, 혁신, 성장)”을 주제로 효율적인 생산, 새로운 기술 혁신, 지속 가능한 성장 전략에 초점을 맞춘 컨퍼런스, 무역전시회를 중심으로 다양한 프로그램이 마련될 예정이다.
이번 행사는 아시아 전역의 양조장 대표, 브루어, 원료 및 장비 공급사, 유통업체 등 1,000명 이상의 업계 관계자들이 참석할 것으로 예상되며, 아시아 맥주 산업의 최신 흐름과 네트워킹이 한자리에서 이뤄지는 장이 될 전망이다.
Brew Asia 2025, the networking event for the Asian beer industry, will be held from October 16 (Thu) to 17 (Fri) at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC) in Thailand. Under the theme “Optimize, Innovate & Grow,” the event will focus on efficient production, technological innovation, and sustainable growth strategies. The program will include a conference, trade fair, and various networking sessions designed to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among industry professionals.
More than 1,000 participants are expected to attend, including brewery owners, brewers, suppliers of raw materials and equipment, and distributors from across Asia. Brew Asia 2025 aims to provide a platform for exploring the latest industry trends and expanding professional networks within the Asian beer scene.
Brew Asia 2025의 컨퍼런스에서는 업계 전문가와 리더들이 참여하는 기조연설, 패널 토론, 기술 세션, 워크숍 등이 진행된다. 첫째날은 ‘How to Brew’의 저자이자 Palmer Brewing Solutions의 대표인 존 팔머(John Palmer)가 양조 효율성 향상을 위한 자원의 최적화(Optimizing Resources for Brewing Efficiency)를 주제로 키노트를 맡으며, 둘째날은 앤더슨 밸리 브루잉(Anderson Valley Brewing Co.)의 브루마스터인 폴 알렌(Fal Allen)이 혁신의 50년에 대한 고찰(Thoughts on 50 years Innovation)을 주제로 키노트 발표를 한다. 이와 함께 양조장의 운영, 원재료, 맥주 비즈니스 등 3개의 주제에 대해 양조 공정 전반의 혁신 기술과 트렌드, 발효 효율 향상, 품질 관리, 지속 가능한 원료 사용 및 아시아 시장에서의 성장 전략과 글로벌 트렌드 등 25개 이상의 프로그램이 진행된다.
The Brew Asia 2025 conference will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, technical sessions, and workshops led by industry experts and leaders. On the first day, John Palmer, author of How to Brew and founder of Palmer Brewing Solutions, will deliver a keynote titled “Optimizing Resources for Brewing Efficiency.” On the second day, Fal Allen, Brewmaster at Anderson Valley Brewing Co., will present “Thoughts on 50 Years of Innovation.”
The conference will be organized around three key themes — Brewery Operations, Raw Materials, and Beer Business — with more than 25 sessions covering topics such as brewing technology and trends, fermentation efficiency, quality management, sustainable ingredient sourcing, growth strategies in the Asian market, and global beer trends.
전시장에는 약 4,000㎡ 규모의 공간이 마련되어 80여 개 이상의 국내외 공급사와 장비 업체가 참가한다. 최신 양조 장비, 효모와 맥아 및 홉 등 원재료, 양조용 부재료, 포장 솔루션, 디스펜싱 장비 등이 전시되어 참가자들은 실제 제품을 직접 보고 비교할 수 있다.
The trade fair will cover approximately 4,000 square meters and host more than 80 exhibitors from around the world. Products on display will include the latest brewing equipment, yeast, malt, hops, brewing adjuncts, packaging solutions, and dispensing systems. Attendees will have the opportunity to see, compare, and experience a wide range of products firsthand.
Brew Asia와 함께 진행되는 Asia Beer & Cider Championships 2025는 아시아 지역 최고의 맥주와 사이더를 선정하는 대회로 본 심사는 9월 24~25일 싱가포르에서 진행되었으며, 결과 발표 및 시상식은 10월 17일 Brew Asia 행사장에서 열린다. 한국의 양조장들은 이 대회에서 매년 다수의 맥주가 수상하며 한국 크래프트 맥주 품질의 우수성을 입증해 왔다. 이번 대회에서도 어떤 맥주가 수상의 영광을 안게 될지 주목된다.
Held alongside Brew Asia, the Asia Beer & Cider Championships 2025 is a premier competition recognizing the best beers and ciders in the region. The main judging took place on September 24–25 in Singapore, and the awards ceremony will be held on October 17 at the Brew Asia venue. Korean breweries have consistently earned multiple awards in this competition, showcasing the high quality of Korean craft beer. Expectations are high again this year to see which breweries will take home top honors.
행사 전날에는 웰컴 리셉션(Welcome Reception)이 개최되어 참가자 간 교류의 장이 마련된다. 또한 컨퍼런스 종료 후에는 방콕의 주요 크래프트 맥주 펍을 방문하는 바 투어(Bar Tour) 등 다양한 사교 프로그램도 예정되어 있다. 이처럼 Brew Asia는 단순한 전시회가 아닌, 아시아 맥주 산업의 트렌드를 공유하고, 기술을 교류하며 업계 내 협력과 정보 공유를 강화하는 네트워킹 플랫폼으로 자리 잡고 있다.
A Welcome Reception will take place the evening before the event, providing an opportunity for participants to connect and network. After the conference, attendees can also join a Bar Tour exploring some of Bangkok’s leading craft beer pubs. Through these diverse activities, Brew Asia has established itself not just as a trade exhibition but as a comprehensive networking platform for sharing trends, exchanging technologies, and strengthening collaboration within the Asian beer industry.
